On 9 October 2026, Youthmakers Hub Kenya organized an online Agi-Re Facilitators Training knowledge-sharing and new volunteer onboarding session, bringing together 10 participants to strengthen facilitation skills, encourage peer learning, and welcome new members to the team.

Held via Zoom, the two-hour session combined knowledge transfer from the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective Programme with an introduction to Youthmakers Hub’s mission, programmes, and volunteer opportunities.

Sharing Knowledge, Strengthening Skills

One of the session’s main objectives was to share the knowledge gained by Samwel Njuuku Mbugua, a YMH Kenya volunteer who participated in ComDev’s Agi-Re Facilitators Training under the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective Programme.

Building on this experience, Samwel shared relevant knowledge and facilitation skills with fellow volunteers, helping strengthen the team’s capacity to engage young people and support youth-focused activities.

Welcoming New Volunteers to YMH Kenya

The session also marked an opportunity to welcome new volunteers to the Youthmakers Hub Kenya team.

Participants were introduced to YMH’s mission, programmes, and approach to youth empowerment, gaining a clearer understanding of their responsibilities and how they can contribute to the organization’s activities.

The activity reflects Youthmakers Hub Kenya’s commitment to developing an informed, engaged, and capable volunteer network.

Through knowledge sharing and volunteer development, YMH Kenya aims to strengthen its capacity to reach young people and help them access resources, networks, and experiences that support their personal and professional growth.

By investing in its volunteers, Youthmakers Hub Kenya continues to support its wider mission of empowering young people, fostering collaboration, and creating opportunities for meaningful participation.
