From 16 to 18 October 2026, Youthmakers Hub participated in Europe in Practice, a three-day Erasmus+ Alumni Network activity held in Bologna, Italy. Organized by Scambieuropei ETS – GaragErasmus Bologna, the initiative brought together 20 members of the garagErasmus network to exchange experiences, discover European opportunities, and explore future cooperation.

Representing Youthmakers Hub were Konstantinos Maragkos, CEO and Co-founder, and Silvia Diazzi, Senior Project Manager, who joined students, alumni, and young professionals for three days of networking, learning, and collaboration.

Exploring European Opportunities and Building Connections

Europe in Practice created a space for participants to learn about European programmes, exchange good practices, and connect with organizations active in youth mobility and international cooperation.

Throughout the activity, participants explored opportunities offered through the European Solidarity Corps, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, and Erasmus+ mobility and cooperation actions.

The programme combined information sessions, peer exchange, and a co-creation workshop focused on developing ideas and partnerships for future EU-funded projects.

Sharing Youthmakers Hub’s Work Across Europe and Africa

During the event, the Youthmakers Hub team presented its work in youth empowerment and international cooperation, highlighting the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective programme.

Through this initiative, Youthmakers Hub leads communication and visibility activities and is responsible for the development and management of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App, a digital platform designed to connect young people with learning resources, opportunities, and networks.

By sharing this experience, Youthmakers Hub contributed practical examples of how European and international cooperation can support youth participation, access to opportunities, and meaningful engagement.

The exchange also created opportunities to discuss future cooperation with members of the garagErasmus network and other participating organizations.

Bringing European Opportunities Closer to Young People

The three-day activity concluded with a public European opportunities and NGO fair, organized in connection with Erasmus Days.

The fair provided an opportunity to engage with the wider community, share information about European programmes, and introduce young people to organizations and initiatives supporting international mobility and personal and professional development.

As an official Eurodesk multiplier in Greece, Youthmakers Hub is committed to making European opportunities more accessible and helping young people discover pathways for learning, mobility, and participation.

Youthmakers Hub thanks Scambieuropei ETS and GaragErasmus Bologna for organizing the activity and bringing together people committed to making European opportunities more accessible to young people.
