Youthmakers Hub at the NextGEN VOICES FOR EUROPE conference
Our Project & HR Manager, Joana Demirani, representing Youthmakers Hub as part of the Alumni network of the European Charlemagne Youth Prize, actively participated in the NextGEN VOICES FOR EUROPE conference held on 7-8 March 2025 at the TUMO Center in Tirana. The event proved to be an engaging and interactive forum for reimagining Europe’s future. Notably, influential stakeholders such as Mr. Martin Schulz, former President of the European Parliament; H.E. Mr. Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania; and Dr. Jürgen Linden, Chairman of the Charlemagne Prize Society, lent their insights and support to the dynamic discussions. Bringing together experienced policymakers and dynamic young leaders, the conference offered insightful panel discussions and thematic sessions on leadership, democracy, and youth-driven innovation. Participants engaged in robust dialogues addressing Europe’s geopolitical, economic, and digital challenges while also celebrating Albania’s rich cultural heritage through curated visits and networking opportunities. Emphasizing the importance of youth involvement in decision-making processes, the event showcased how intergenerational collaboration can drive meaningful change. Overall, the conference set a high standard for civic engagement and inspired renewed commitment to building a more inclusive and resilient Europe.
