Youthmakers Hub at the garagErasmus Annual Meeting

Our Co-founder & CEO, Konstantinos Maragkos, was invited to participate in the garagErasmus Annual Meeting 2025, held on April 14–15 at Open Milano, as a strategic advisor. In this capacity, he provided valuable insights to support the Foundation during a pivotal transition phase, as it seeks to explore new ideas and models for long-term sustainability and impact. Konstantinos actively participated in discussions, led brainstorming sessions, and presented practical solutions to diversify revenue, maximize the potential of the garagErasmus network, and develop innovative platforms that connect members with funding and contract opportunities. Importantly, garagErasmus was the first official stakeholder to believe in and support WE AfriHug 2018, the initiative that laid the foundation for Youthmakers Hub, before it was officially established in 2019. The Foundation also recognized WE AfriHug with the prestigious Golden Laissez Passer award, a recognition that continues to drive YMH’s commitment to youth empowerment and cross-sector collaboration. The Annual Meeting also provided a unique opportunity for networking with influential stakeholders from higher education and civil society, fostering connections that will enhance future collaborations. This event served as a vital forum for shaping the Foundation’s strategic direction, while reaffirming its mission to empower the Erasmus generation.
