Youthmakers Hub at the European Charlemagne Youth Prize 2025

Youthmakers Hub had the distinct honor of participating at the European Charlemagne Youth Prize (ECYP) 2025 in Aachen, Germany, from 26 to 29 May. The prestigious event, held at the historic city’s town hall and surrounding venues, brought together young changemakers, policymakers, and dignitaries from across Europe and beyond. As part of the vibrant Charlemagne Prize Forum, YMH had the invaluable opportunity to meet this year’s winner of the international prize, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. The interactions with President von der Leyen and other notable figures like Dr. Josef Aschbacher, Director General of the European Space Agency, H.E. Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of Kosovo, Taavi Rõivas, Former Prime Minister of Estonia, Sabine Verheyen and Lídia Pereira MEP, offered a unique platform to discuss the shared vision of an inclusive, youth-responsive Europe. Amidst an inspiring environment of innovation and collaboration, YMH engaged with the winners of the ECYP 2025: Hungary’s Forum Europaeum (1st place), Czech Republic’s Díky, že můžem volit (2nd place), and Germany’s Feminist Law Clinic (3rd place).
