Youthmakers Hub at the EU Youth Stakeholders Group Meeting
Youthmakers Hub, as part of the EU Youth Stakeholders Group, took part in the inaugural meeting held in Brussels on 27 & 28 March 2025. The event provided a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and exploring innovative strategies to engage, connect, and empower young people across Europe.
The meeting featured an impressive line-up of sessions. A fireside chat with key figures such as Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, Director General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, set the stage with discussions on current EU youth policies and priorities. Participants delved into vital topics including the Youth Policy Dialogues, the groundbreaking Youth Check initiative, and the upcoming EU Youth Report that will highlight the situation of young Europeans. Workshops played a central role in shaping the agenda. The main workshop focused on enhancing the EU Youth Strategy where participants brainstormed and shared their view on how the upcoming EU Youth Strategy can be even more effective, inclusive and specific.
Throughout the two-day event, influential stakeholders, including Commissioner Glenn Micalef and other prominent figures, touched upon the subject of driving forward youth-centric initiatives that respond to both current challenges and future needs.
Overall, the meeting proved to be an inspiring opportunity for all participants, highlighting the crucial role of youth in shaping the future of European policy. Youthmakers Hub is proud to have contributed to these discussions and looks forward to continuing this collaborative journey toward a more inclusive and empowered Europe.
