During 26-30 of January, Youthmakers Hub joined consortium partners and the Youth Advisory Board in Mombasa, Kenya, for the 2026 Annual Review Meeting of the AU–EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective programme.

Represented by Silvia Diazzi, Senior Project Manager, and Stefanos Stagakis, Marketing & Communications Manager, Youthmakers Hub presented the key milestones we achieved for the programme, shared insights and discussed feedback on the last Year. We also presented the progress of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab app, the mobile application we created under the programme’s framework.

The meeting offered space to reflect on progress, strengthen collaboration, and co‑design the priorities that will guide Year 3 (2026–2027). Partners and Youth Advisory Board members worked collectively to assess youth engagement, advocacy influence, and systemic collaboration across the AU–EU partnership.

Over five days, participants engaged in joint reflection sessions, co‑design working groups, and the finalisation of the MEAL Framework, ensuring alignment on future actions.

We were grateful to meet our partners on this programme in person and work closely with youth representatives. Collaboration and youth advocacy play a big part in the Youthmakers Hub mission and the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab Annual Review Meeting brought us closer to this direction.
