Youthmakers Hub at the AfricArena Lagos Summit 2025
Peace Odili, Project Manager at Youthmakers Hub, recently attended the AfricArena Lagos Summit, held on April 30th, in Lagos, Nigeria. The Summit focused on innovation within the African startup ecosystem, highlighting emerging finance, mobility, and logistics trends. Keynotes and panel discussions brought together industry leaders, investors, and venture capitalists from across Africa, among which Dan Mabbyalas, Head of Products, AfricArena, Christophe Viarnaud, Founder & CEO, AfricArena, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, Founding Partner, Future Africa & Oluwadunni Fanibe, Accelerator Portfolio Manager, Africa, Google for Startups.
Conversations from seed to growth stage on how to build sustainable businesses, manage investors and get investments, borderless innovation regarding Africa’s fintech footprint, next steps for Africa’s innovation ecosystem, traits of high impact founding teams, what Africa should be investing in and scaling women’s impact in African tech were emphasized and prioritized.
Peace engaged with stakeholders to explore potential collaborations for Youthmakers Hub and AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective. She connected African youth with global networks, promoted the programme’s App, and fostered promising conversations.
