Youthmakers Hub at “Creating Impact Together”: Strengthening Partnerships for Inclusive Erasmus+ K2 Projects
From 12–16 January 2026, Youthmakers Hub joined organisations from across Europe in Sabaudia, Italy, for “Creating Impact Together”, an Erasmus+ K2 contact‑making retreat dedicated to building cooperation in the fields of youth, sport, and adult education.
Represented by Peace Odili and Stefanos Papadosifos, our team contributed to an interactive and experiential programme designed to spark collaboration rooted in trust, shared values, and real organisational capacity.
The retreat gathered organisations such as Out of Office Foundation, Lejo, HumanCentric Foundation, Korfes NGO, Breekjar, Breizh Insertion Sport, and others. This diversity enriched the exchange of practices and encouraged culturally aware approaches to youth work.
Organised by Kamaleonte, the retreat brought together 20 senior Erasmus+ experts, youth workers, project designers, and NGOs from across Europe. The event embraced a non‑formal, outdoor, and experiential methodology that encouraged participants to connect as people first — beyond logos, roles, or organisational profiles.
The programme unfolded in three phases: group-Building and outdoor Learning, sharing practices, and co‑designing realistic K2 project concepts. OrganisationPeace and Stefanos actively engaged in discussions about digital youth work, inclusive project design, and cross-continental cooperation, aligning with Youthmakers Hub’s commitment to empowering young people through innovation and partnerships.s exchanged experiences from their national contexts, highlighting challenges and opportunities in youth work. Splitted in smaller groups, they worked together to co-create project ideas.
The result: concrete, feasible K2 concepts supported by strong, newly formed transnational partnerships.
During the retreat, Youthmakers Hub presented the AU–EU Youth Voices Lab Mobile App, showcasing how digital tools can amplify youth voices, strengthen civic engagement, and foster cross‑regional collaboration.
Peace and Stefanos actively engaged in discussions about digital youth work, inclusive project design, and cross-continental cooperation. Youthmakers Hub left Sabaudia with strengthened partnerships, fresh project ideas, and renewed energy to co-create impactful Erasmus+ initiatives.
