Youth Voices in Action: Advocacy, Participation & Digital Engagement

On Tuesday, 23 June 2026, Youthmakers Hub Kenya will organize Youth Voices in Action: Advocacy, Participation & Digital Engagement, an interactive online session designed to strengthen youth participation in civic and community processes.

The virtual programme will take place from 6:00pm to 7:00pm EAT via Zoom. It is organized by Youthmakers Hub Kenya in collaboration with The Youth Congress and ELF-Africa.

The session will bring together young people, facilitators, and stakeholders to explore how advocacy, civic participation, and digital tools can support youth engagement in decision-making spaces.

Across Africa, young people are engaging with civic, electoral, and democratic processes in new ways. Digital platforms are creating more opportunities for youth to speak up, connect, organize, and influence issues that affect their communities.

Youth Voices in Action aims to support this momentum by creating a structured and youth-centered space for dialogue, learning, and exchange.

Through presentations, guided discussions, and practical insights, participants will explore how they can use advocacy and digital engagement to raise their voices and contribute to local and regional change.

During the session, participants will:

  • Learn more about advocacy and civic participation;
  • Explore how digital platforms can support civic engagement;
  • Take part in guided discussions with young people and stakeholders;
  • Share experiences, ideas, and solutions to community challenges;
  • Be introduced to opportunities for continued engagement.

The session is designed for young people interested in advocacy, participation, digital engagement, community action, and decision-making processes.

It is especially relevant for youth leaders, students, community organizers, young changemakers, and young people who want to strengthen their role in civic spaces.
