YMH empowers young active citizens at Chania, Crete | September 2022

In September 2022, Youthmakers Hub took a significant step in empowering young, active citizens in Chania, Crete. From the 19th to the 23rd, we hosted the Erasmus+ project “nEU Citizenship”. This hands-on training was the second in a series of seven events under the KA1 Erasmus+ program, co-funded by Erasmus+ of the European Union and the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM).

Our primary goal for this five-day training was to immerse young Greeks in the concept of “civic engagement”, adjusting it to both Greek and European contexts through a sustainability lens. While the training mirrored the content and structure of our Dorida event, it was uniquely tailored to resonate with the local context of Chania.
