We won the Global Education Award 2025
We are proud to announce that the 3is Project, of which we’re part, has been awarded the Global Education Award 2025 in the Transformative Pedagogy category by the Global Citizenship Foundation. The award was presented during the Global Education Awards Conference on November 13, 2025, in recognition of impactful contributions to transforming education systems and promoting inclusive and innovative learning approaches. Youthmakers Hub played a central role in this award.
The 3is Project focuses on strengthening higher education institutions in Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya by introducing student-centered learning models, promoting inclusive curricula, and supporting the adoption of blended and digital education. Through a series of workshops and collaborative activities, the project has enabled universities to develop action plans that improve access for marginalized learners, enhance teaching quality, and better align education with labor market and societal needs.
Within the 3is Project, as the partner responsible for Communication and Dissemination, we contributed to increasing the project’s visibility, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring that its results reached both academic communities and wider audiences. Youthmakers Hub also contributed to key areas such as internationalization, academic excellence, and community engagement, supporting the initiative’s overall success and recognition.
For us, this award reflects the collective efforts of the consortium and the institutions involved. It demonstrates the impact of collaborative, forward-thinking approaches on education systems and reinforces our commitment to supporting inclusive and transformative education globally.
