We got the Education for Climate Award 2025
We are pleased to share that our SoilTribes project, with the contribution of Youthmakers Hub, has received a Certificate of Recognition at the Education for Climate Award 2025 under the Call for Inspiring Green Education Actions. The award was presented during a live panel at the European Commission on October 23, 2025, as part of the broader Education for Climate initiative. Silvia Diazzi, Senior Project Manager at Youthmakers Hub, represented the organization and participated in the panel discussion “Green Education Projects Citizenship Education.”
The project was recognized for its innovative approach to soil conservation, its strong focus on citizenship education, and its collaborative learning model that brings communities and educators together. By promoting new ways of understanding soil and its role in climate resilience, SoilTribes helps advance environmental awareness and sustainability practices.
Youthmakers Hub, as a consortium partner, supports the project through its Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation role. Through this contribution, we ensure that the project’s knowledge, opportunities, and tools are effectively shared with wider audiences, increasing visibility and encouraging engagement across different stakeholder groups. This role is essential in translating project outcomes into broader societal impact. The recognition highlights how Youthmakers Hub, through SoilTribes, inspires communities and educators to rethink the importance of soil in ecological systems and climate action.
