The WE AfriHug 2020 Project: Empowering African Youth and Institutions – Benefiting 579 Participants Across Togo, Benin, and Nigeria
The WE AfriHug project, an initiative of the Youthmakers Hub under the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA), has had a significant impact, benefiting a total of 579 individuals. This includes 449 students and academic staff from three Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) – the African Leadership Institute and ESSEG Statistique in Lomé, Togo, the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin, and the University of Arthur Jarvis in Nigeria – as well as 130 youth workers representing 53 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. The project’s final report encapsulates these activities and their outcomes, reflecting the project’s commitment to fostering educational and professional opportunities and strengthening ties between Africa and Europe.
