Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Capacities of Research and Innovation Projects | December 2023

On the 6th of December, EURAXESS Africa and Youthmakers Hub successfully completed their collaborative webinar on “Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Capacities of Research and Innovation Projects.” The event, kicked off by Ahmed Maalel from EURAXESS Africa, set the tone for an insightful session featuring distinguished speakers. Faith Blakemore, Project Manager at Steinbeis Europa Zentrum, Germany, shared invaluable insights into project management strategies, fostering a global perspective on innovation. Yaw Adu-Gyamfi, Director of the Centre for Social Innovation in Ghana, provided a unique perspective, shedding light on the entrepreneurial landscape in Africa and the pivotal role innovation plays in societal development.

Marilena Maragkou, representing Youthmakers Hub, took the stage to present the organization’s vision and mission in empowering youth and fostering innovation. Her presentation underscored the importance of empowering the youth to become catalysts for positive change through entrepreneurial endeavors. The collaborative efforts of these distinguished speakers, spanning different continents and industries, exemplified the power of global partnerships in driving innovation and creating opportunities for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
