SoilTribes Consortium Meeting 2026 in Portugal
On 13 February, Youthmakers Hub was represented by Silvia Diazzi, Senior Project Manager, and Stefanos Stagakis, Marketing and Communications Manager, at the SoilTribes Consortium Meeting in Beja, Portugal. As the partner responsible for Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation, Youthmakers Hub actively helps shape the project’s visibility, outreach, and long-term impact strategy.
Hosted and led by INOVA+, the full-day meeting brought together partners from across Europe to share progress, strengthen coordination, and plan the next steps. The day opened with an energizing ice-breaking activity facilitated by INOVA+ and Pé de Xumbo, setting a collaborative tone for the discussions that followed.
Following a welcome and agenda presentation by Project Officer Amanda Ozin, partners shared updates across all work packages, covering coordination, implementation, and strategic planning. Key discussion areas included project alignment and reporting processes, creative and educational initiatives, such as traveling exhibitions and community-based formats, and policy-oriented work supporting sustainable land management and soil de-sealing practices. Additional focus was placed on tools and resources under development, research, capacity-building activities, and cultural initiatives connecting soil-related themes with local communities through festivals and artistic collaborations. A key highlight was the onboarding of representatives from newly selected SoilTribes-funded projects, bringing fresh perspectives and initiatives into the network.
The Youthmakers Hub team actively networked with consortium partners and representatives of SoilTribes-funded projects, and coordinated content creation for upcoming communication campaigns. These interactions are essential to ensuring consistency, visibility, and shared ownership of the project’s narrative across all partners.
