Empowering Youth with the Hack4Youth Initiative

We recently co-organized the online Hackathon: Hack4Youth, in collaboration with Balkans Beyond Borders. This event was part of the Y-FED project, coordinated by JEF Europe and co-funded by the European Commission. The goal of the Hackathon was to inspire young people, students, youth workers, and future entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions for Europe, in line with the European Youth Goals. Hack4Youth was conducted online via Zoom and Slack platforms, with 19 young people from across Greece working in teams to tackle three distinct challenges. During the event, participants attended several sessions, including Project Management tips, Business Model Canvas, and Formatting-Presenting & Pitching. At the conclusion of Hack4Youth, the teams presented their solutions to evaluators and received valuable feedback. We are pleased to announce that the winning team was named Mark Zuckerberg!
