Dissemination Event for the EYDE Project “AI for Critical Thinking in the Digital Era”
On 27 April 2026, Youthmakers Hub organized “AI for Critical Thinking in the Digital Era”, the Dissemination Event of the EYDE – Empowering Youth for the Digital Era project, in partnership with IO PER L’ALTRO – APS.
EYDE is bringing together research, practice, and youth learning to explore how digital tools and artificial intelligence can support young people’s creativity, employability, resilience, and digital readiness. The project also reflects on how AI can act as a cognitive partner when used critically, responsibly, and intentionally.
The online event aimed to make the EYDE project visible in an engaging and accessible way, while offering participants a practical learning experience connected to AI, digital awareness, critical thinking, and future skills through a 1-hour webinar.
A short, interactive, and youth-focused session
Designed for young people, youth workers, educators, and AI‑curious professionals, the online session gathered 50+ participants from Greece, Italy, Germany, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and beyond.
The session was facilitated by Silvia Diazzi, Senior Project Manager at Youthmakers Hub, who guided participants through the EYDE project, its key results, and selected elements of its training materials. She also highlighted the skills needed in today’s digital landscape. The session focused on AI and critical thinking, using an interactive format that included a Mentimeter activity and an evaluation and certificate form.
