AfriConEU Bootcamp in Uganda is completed | July 2023

AfriConEU, in the framework of the AfriConEU Networking Academy, is organizing a series of captivating Bootcamps in four remarkable African countries: Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Ghana. First destination of the Youthmakers Hub Team… was Uganda!

As we are responsible for the communication and dissemination of the project and its activities, we took the first plane and travelled to Uganda, on the 12 – 14 July 2023. During this first bootcamp we organized interviews, and opportunities for networking with participants, mentors, and industry experts, while at the same time disseminating all the updates to all of our networks. Attendees also benefited from an inspiring workshop by Konstantinos Maragkos, Co-founder and Communications Specialist & Georgianna Chondrou, Communication Lead of Youthmakers Hub on how to pitch their ideas, setting the stage for a transformative learning experience.

The Bootcamp in Uganda was an incredible experience, encompassing learning, networking, design thinking, inspiring speeches, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It was a true celebration of African talent and the power of collaboration!

A shoutout goes to the participating teams for sharing their innovative ideas, to the mentors and partners for their pivotal role in making this Bootcamp a resounding success. Their guidance, unwavering support, and infectious energy have been the driving force behind this extraordinary journey.
