On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, Youthmakers Hub team member Peace Odili, Project Manager of Youthmakers Hub, met with representatives of Youthmakers Hub Kenya in Athens, Greece.

The meeting brought together Dr. Esther Munyiri, Lecturer at the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Dr. Eddah Kipchumba, Lecturer in Public Policy and Administration at Kenyatta University, as part of Youthmakers Hub Kenya’s partnership with Kenyatta University.

The discussion focused on strategic opportunities to advance youth development in Kenya. The team reflected on the progress of existing and concluded initiatives, explored emerging needs, and identified future areas of collaboration between YMH and YMH Kenya.

Key topics included youth capacity building, leadership development, employability, civic engagement, and the design of sustainable programmes that respond to the realities of young people in Kenya. The meeting also strengthened the operational link between Youthmakers Hub and Youthmakers Hub Kenya, reaffirming a shared commitment to turning Europe-Africa collaboration into practical local impact.

Through this exchange, YMH and YMH Kenya continue working together to support young people with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities they need to thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
