We are proud to share that the official website of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective programme, which Youthmakers Hub has designed and developed, has been awarded 1st place in the People’s Choice category at the .eu Web Awards 2025. Organized by EURid, the awards celebrate excellence, creativity, and impact among websites using the .eu domain, highlighting platforms that successfully combine innovation with meaningful user engagement.

Out of 93 nominated websites from 15 countries and 25 finalists across five categories, the AU–EU Youth Voices Lab website stood out for its strong performance, achieving a total score of 10 out of 10, including a 5 out of 5 score from the jury, alongside 2,635 public votes. These results secured the website’s position at the top of the People’s Choice category, reflecting both expert recognition and strong community support across Africa and Europe.

The website that YMH has created and continues to update serves as a central digital space where young people can access opportunities, understand the programme, and download the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab App. Through this work, we are contributing to strengthening youth participation and ensuring that voices from both continents are visible and heard.

For us at Youthmakers Hub, this award is a confirmation of the impact that well-designed digital platforms can have in amplifying youth voices and supporting international cooperation. It further encourages us to continue investing in digital tools that enable participation, engagement, and knowledge sharing across Africa and Europe.
