WE AfriHug is a project of Youthmakers Hub. It is an educational project being implemented in Africa every year, with a different edition. Our vision is to bring Africa and Europe closer through education. Our mission is to empower Youth through capacity building create and to connections between AU – EU HEIs & CSOs. Our values are: Solidarity, respect to local cultures and communities, collaboration, co-creation and Afrocentric approach. We provide capacity building training seminars on Erasmus+, Life skills and Soft skills to HEIS, CSOs Schools.

It was piloted in 2018 as a voluntary project, which was implemented in 7 African countries (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Togo, Ghana, the Refugee Camps Western Sahara and Nigeria) from January until July 2018. In 2019, it was selected by ESAA and the European Commission for funds and it was implemented in 4 African countries (Ethiopia, Uganda, Nigeria and Ghana) from February until May 2019.
