Project Managers Academy

Project Managers Academy aims to provide the project’s beneficiaries with the necessary knowledge to manage projects, develop competitive funding proposals, and enhance entrepreneurship spirit with a solid societal extension. The target group consists of youth aged 24-30 years old residing in Athens, looking for opportunities to create projects and get funding for their projects.

This webinar provides participants with an understanding of the essence and crucial role of project management. More specifically, this webinar includes a project management introduction and a detailed analysis of the several stages of project management (Initiation, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation).

The participants learn about the tools required for successful project management during this webinar. participants gain knowledge on several platforms and digital tools recommended for the organization of projects, such as the Asana tool and Gantt chart, as well as the use of Excel. Furthermore, the trainer explains how to develop activities, monitor documents, and several case studies of projects are used to provide participants with a more practical approach to the project management process.

This activity provides participants with guidance concerning their preparation of applications for submission. During this activity, the participants are divided into teams according to their skills and interest in topics for submitting projects for the Call Round 3 of ESC in October 2021.

The participants are divided into teams based on their preference regarding the topics, which include mental health, environmental practices, and sustainable business development. The participants are then asked to find solutions to specific challenges. During the Hackathon, the participants work in teams to seek feasible ideas and develop an action plan, a poster for their solution, a logo, and a presentation. By the end of the Hackathon, they present their ideas to an evaluation committee.
