Empowering Youth in the Digital Era (EYDE)

Empowering Youth in the Digital Era (EYDE) is designed to foster digital readiness, employability, and AI-driven competencies among youth through non-formal education while bridging research, policy, and practice for an inclusive digital transformation. EYDE aims to equip young people with the essential digital skills and innovative competencies needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven environment. The project engages youth through a balanced mix of physical and digital activities, ensuring that participants gain both practical insights and theoretical knowledge. The project develops an evidence-based framework that integrates digital transformation and AI in non-formal education, fostering a collaborative network among researchers, policymakers, and educators.

This activity gathers key professionals from IPA and YMH for a meeting in Greece, where they exchange good practices, build team cohesion, and establish a common framework and shared language for the project. It sets the groundwork for subsequent actions by defining roles, planning tasks, and developing evaluation questionnaires. Find out more here.

This activity systematically investigates how digital practices can enhance transversal skills such as critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and emotional intelligence. It involves conducting a literature review, administering pre- and post-tests, and running workshops that serve both to assess current skill levels and refine innovative educational methods.

Focusing on sharing the project’s outcomes, this activity develops and deploys various digital content—articles, videos, social media posts, and newsletters- to promote the project’s innovations and best practices. It also includes public events like webinars and workshops to ensure broad visibility and long-term impact across local, national, and international audiences.

The Final Meeting brings together project managers and key team members in Italy to review the overall impact of the project, evaluate the achievements, and plan sustainable follow-up actions. It combines reflective evaluation with strategic planning to consolidate successes and ensure that the partnership continues to build on the project’s outcomes.
