On March 15th, Microkosmos & Youthmakers Hub participated in the first internal podcast training session online by Fundación Farrah. The purpose was to equip the EUth Voices for Social Change consortium with theoretical and practical knowledge about podcasting and provide basic technical information regarding the upcoming trainings.
The Youthmakers Hub team attended the “Sparks for Solidarity” event held at the Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel by the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM), responsible for the implementation and assessment of European programmes for adults, young and vulnerable social groups and the European Solidarity Corps.
The webinar series Capacity Building for EU was completed on the 1st of March 2023 with the last one about the Career Development for EUth from 4-6:30 PM Central European Time.. The webinar was part of the Erasmus KA2 Project “EUth Voices for Social Change” and aimed to raise awareness among young people from Greece, Italy, and Spain about the Bluebook Traineeship and the opportunities of the Erasmus Young Entrepreneurs Programme.
The first two-days online hackathon about reflection was held on 18-19th of February. The hackathon was organized by Youthmakers Hub, Kamaleonte and CPIE A Rinascita under the framework of Erasmus + Refl’Action program, which was funded by the National Agency of Italy. Participants from Greece, Italy and France were separated in teams, joined forces, collaborated and presented their ideas in three different challenges:
The workshop, which was held under the theme “The role of being a young citizen in Greece in today’s European Context,” aimed to explore the challenges and opportunities available to young citizens in Greece in the current European context. The event was organized by Youthmakers Hub and Ecogenia , in collaboration with the Municipal Youth Council of Thessaloniki, as part of the Erasmus + nEU Citizenship program, which was funded by the National Agency of Greece.
On the 8th of February, Youthmakers Hub hosted the second webinar of the series “Capacity Building for EU” titled #2 How to write an ESC project“. The webinar was part of the Erasmus KA2 Project “EUth Voices for Social Change” funded by the National Agency of Spain. It aimed to raise awareness among young people from Greece, Italy, and Spain about the European Solidarity Corps programme and give tips and details on how youth can apply and get funded.
On the 25st of January, Youthmakers HUb hosted the first webinar of the series “Capacity Building for EU” titled “#1 Skills Development for EUth” was held on January 25th from 4-6:30 PM Central European Time. The webinar was part of the Erasmus KA2 Project “EUth Voices for Social Change”. It aimed to raise awareness among young people from Greece, Italy, and Spain about EU opportunities for developing their hard and soft skills.
