On the 2nd of December 2021, the digital discussion “Make your voice heard for the planet” takes place on the Zoom platform. The meeting is co-organized by Youthmakers Hub and the Europe Direct of Central Macedonia in the framework of the Conference of the Future of Europe. There is interactive discussion among the participants, most of them students of Perrotis College. The horizontal topic of discussion is the environment in relation to Technology, Nutrition, Entrepreneurship, Quality of life, and Education. The event’s main speaker is Dr. Georgios Fytianos, Assistant Professor at Perrotis College in the Department of Environmental Science. Some proposals developed include reducing food waste along the food chain, animal welfare and sustainable agricultural practices, and the use of technological tools to conserve natural resources and protect the environment. The results are presented at the Conference on the Future of Europe.
