My 5 Ws

Who is your role model?

It’s hard to choose only one among all the amazing people that I have met in my life. Thanks to my traveling lifestyle, I had the chance to meet and interact with inspirational individuals from different cultures and backgrounds who are my daily source of motivation to further develop myself.

What are you proud of?

I am proud of being constantly curious to explore. My inquisitiveness never stops, no matter if it is about a new language, skill or musical instrument. I am proud that whatever I do in my life, successfully or not, I do it with all of my passion without second thoughts.

When was a life-changing moment in your life?

It was when I had to retire from professional football after a serious injury. It was the time that I felt absolutely vulnerable since I had focused and invested on that for more than 14 years without backup plans. All of a sudden, I was with no plan and no clear options in my life, but I decided to pursue different passions and I believe that I found a new and interesting path to follow.

Where have you felt mostly outside of your comfort zone?

Due to the fact that I always seek to be really out of my comfort zone at least once per month it is hard to pick just a single case. However, I would say back in 2017 when I was in an Ukrainian village 30 km from Russia and I was surrounded by people with completely different social beliefs. Nevertheless, it was an interesting life lesson for me and it helped me to further expand my comfort zone.

Why Youthmakers Hub?

Because it is a multicultural place where I feel free to create and express my ideas to people who believe in the team spirit. Additionally, Youthmakers Hub is a great challenge for me in order to apply all the knowledge that I have acquired through academic and non-formal education the last years. Lastly, when you share the same values, vision and passion with your colleagues to create a long-term impact then you know that you are in the right place.
