HR & Operations Manager

  • Location: Remote and Office Work/ Completely Flexible

Youthmakers Hub is looking for a HR & Operations Manager to oversee hub management and human resources tasks. Responsibilities include hub management, administrative duties, resource planning, and intern supervision. The manager will also manage website content, seek new talents, and explore funding opportunities. This role requires providing updates and strategic recommendations. Ideal for a proactive individual skilled in project oversight and team development.

HR Leadership

  • Oversee the full employee journey: recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding
  • Create a people-first culture grounded in growth, inclusion, and well-being
  • Manage all HR documentation, emails, and legal contracts
  • Coordinate interns & maintain onboarding/offboarding processes

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate internal training and feedback cycles
  • Promote a learning culture across teams

Team Coordination

  • Lead HR check-ins and team updates
  • Keep communication flowing across departments

Operations & Hub Management

  • Design internal workflows to make us more efficient
  • Manage tools, systems, and office logistics (including supplies & visitors)
  • Keep team meetings structured, productive, and well-documented

Strategy & Reporting

  • Act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board
  • Provide monthly updates, new ideas, and strategic suggestions
  • Maintain calendars, drives, and internal documentation systems
  • University Degree from an accredited institution in the fields of project management or relevant.
  • Proficiency in English and Greek (written and oral); additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational and management capabilities.
  • Dynamic, adaptable, flexible and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges, with occasional travel required.
  • Minimum 2 years of full time work experience in operations and human resources.
  • Prior experience with EU-funded projects or non-profits.
  • Knowledge of how deliverables work in EU funded projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Experience with EU project management and communications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time-management, and people-management skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and working independently, ensuring excellence in all job aspects. Excellent organizational, time-management, and people-management skills.

  • A master’s degree in any field.
  • Having worked/ lived abroad at least 6 months or having participated in at least 5 Erasmus+/ International projects.
  • Open-mindedness and a history of travel.
  • Exposure to African work/study/living environments.
  • Proficiency with office software, email, web-based applications, and databases.
  • Savvy with social media platforms and keen on adopting new digital tools.
  • Knowledge of Canva.
