My 5 Ws

Who is your role model?

To be honest, my role models change depending on the circumstances. It’s fair to say that I always need to improve many aspects of my personality and thus I try to adopt all of those positive traits that others lavishly have to offer. Inspiration and motivation are not always found in accomplished, decorated people. One can also seek it in everyday life.

What are you proud of?

I can finally say that I’m currently in a state in my life where the path to my future becomes progressively clearer day by day and that’s what I’m most proud of. During the last two years I’ve made serious progress towards my self-discovery, thus finding what truly interests me and what I can offer to the world. In a nutshell, I honestly believe that all the above have provided me with the necessary confidence to realize that we are all capable of lending a helping hand to those in need.

When was a life-changing moment in your life?

Getting into University, starting my internship and travelling abroad have all been to
an extend life-changing experiences. However, I truly believe the greatest moments
in my life are yet to come.

Where have you felt mostly outside of your comfort zone?

Like many of us, I too for sure have found myself in situations in which I felt extremely uncomfortable throughout my life. But instead of mentioning such moments I’d like to emphasize on the fact that walking out of your comfort zone is the only way one can truly get to know more about themselves so that they are able to set their boundaries accordingly later in life. To me that’s the real key to success after all.

Why Youthmakers Hub?

I came in contact with Marilena and Konstantinos through the University of Piraeus and I had the chance to get a glimpse at their amazing work. As soon as I was informed about YMH I decided to apply. At first, I was amazed by the multicultural and diverse environment and by their educational projects not only Greece, but especially in Africa. What better way, I thought to myself, to enhance my soft skills and get in touch with other fascinating cultures on an academic level other than joining YMH.
